Pio Pio
604 10th Ave.
NY, NY 10036
212 – 459‑2929
As of right now, the only way to find this newest addition to the Pio Pio empire is to accidentally stumble upon it. It’s location is not even posted on the website yet! So, of course, when I came across it while walking down the street, I just had to make a detour to stop in.
For the most part, it’s your typical Pio Pio with the same menu of delicious chicken and side dishes as its uptown counterpart. What really sets it apart is the decor. It will totally throw you for a loop. The eatery is unexpectedly large and it seems the owners had a lot of fun decorating it. The vibe is very nouveau rustic with lots of wood, shiny gold, and beautiful photos of Peru. It’s only been open for a month, but there were already a bunch of regulars hanging out there. Dine by the bar, or in the humongous downstairs dining room. It’s an impressive view from up top. Like I said, you won’t find any info on the internet just yet, but I wanted to let all you Pio Pio lovers know about this sweet new location!

This weekend I checked out Couples Retreat. I’ve been anticipating for this flick quite some time now, since there’s nothing but garbage in the theatres nowadays.
I was looking forward to an authentic comedy, a knee slapper, even expected a little bit of pee to come out. Unfortunately, none of the aforementioned occured.
Check out the rest of my review after the jump…
Art Inspiration: Artist Ellen Abraham

I really connect with the figurative and humorous attributes of Ellen Abraham’s painting style and artistic aesthetic. She conjures up absurd, ridicules comedic paintings that make people laugh, shakes their head and then silently think about its political statements… Haaaaa… I adore this!

Tainted Obligation on Grey’s Anatomy?

Last night on Grey’s Anatomy, Cristina struggled to use her gift, Izzie was told she can’t be a patient and a doctor, and Meredith made an incredibly selfless decision to help her ailing father, Thatcher, who needed a liver transplant after years of alcoholism.
The guy above? Well, he was pretty much awesome. 80 something year old man who has a “PYT” 60 something year old requested a penile implant to pleasure his woman, AS ALL MEN SHOULD
and the surgery was successful…pretty darn funny if you ask me.
The climax of the episode was Lexie’s plea to Merideth, I teared up a bit. I read a lot of people on twitter were touched because of her message. It made me realize don’t hold off things for tomorrow — what you can do today. Sincerely made me want to call my father as we do not have a solid relationship. This episode was 10 times better than the first 3.
What did you think of last night’s Grey’s Anatomy?
Peep the trailer for next week’s Grey’s after the jump…WHO DO YOU THINK IS GETTING THE BOOT FROM SEATTLE GRACE?
