Review: Couples Retreat

Couples Retreat

This weekend I checked out Couples Retreat. I’ve been anticipating for this flick quite some time now, since there’s nothing but garbage in the theatres nowadays.

I was looking forward to an authentic comedy, a knee slapper, even expected a little bit of pee to come out. Unfortunately, none of the aforementioned occured.

Check out the rest of my review after the jump…

OMG… Paranormal Activity in a Theater Near You!

By: Pianca Pink.

So suddenly everyone is super-buzzed-about the new horror flick ‘Paranormal Activity’ which was made for a mere $11,000 over the course of seven days — and is now being called “the scariest movie of the decade.” The film follows a young couple (Katie Featherston and Micah Sloat) who, convinced they’re being haunted by spirits, set up a video camera to monitor their bedroom over the course of 20 nights. Now playing in theaters… Remove the children from premises and watch the trailor below. Crazzzzy!

Michael Jackson’s “This is it” Movie Trailer & The VMA New Movie Trailer for “The Twilight Saga: New Moon”

By: Pianca Pink.

Releasing on October 28th and playing for only 2 weeks, this sad but gracefully put together movie“This Is It”, staring Michael Jackson filled me with so much emotion that I was in damn near river-sobbing tears. Tickets go on sale on September 27th, make sure you don’t get left out!

Also, view another trailer that also made a premiere at last night VMA’s, “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” and see why is that I’m at a complete frantic awaiting the release of this film on November 20, 2009. Ladies, I mean everyone… how siked are we about this movie… I am absolute angst just thinking about it, lol.

“The September Issue” with Anna Wintour Officially Premiere at New York’s Museum of Modern Art

By: Pianca Pink.

The September Issue, is R.J. Cutler’s much anticipated new documentary about the making of the biggest installment in Vogue magazine’s history, finally had its official premiere at New York’s Museum of Modern Art last night — and the turnout was suitably stellar. Marc Jacobs, Sean Combs, Renée Zellweger, Donald Trump, and the issue’s cover girl, Sienna Miller — along, of course, with Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour and André Leon Talley and Grace Coddington — were just some of the boldfaced names who showed up for the sneak peek.

The Time Traveler’s Wife — Leave the Boys at Home, Ladies!

By: Stephalocity

Rachel-McAdamscrop
Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana on the red carpet premiere for The Time Traveler’s Wife…
Brad Pitt is that you? *perplexed*

Created by best selling author Audrey Niffenegger’s — The Time Traveler’s Wife, the film was directed by Robert Schwentke. Starring one of my favorite actresses, the classy and graceful Rachel McAdams as Clare and the uber handsome Eric Bana as Henry.

Henry suffers from a scarce genertic anomaly and travels through time, mainly big events in his life. Of course I am not going to spill specific deets — but I am not too keen of exaggerated fictional stories, I felt as if I was watching the movie Groundhog Day starring Bill Murray, over and over again.
