The Hen­nessy Artistry Tour ft. Com­mon and The Roots at at Ter­mi­nal 5 in New York City, was one of the best events I’ve atten­ded this year. Good drinks, ama­zing per­for­man­ces, and nothing but love in the buil­ding… what more can you ask for.

Fashion’s Night Out: Paper Mag Party @ Intermix Soho W/ Anna Wintour and Sienna Miller

The vibe at the Paper Mag party in the Inter­mix Soho store was ama­zing.  They had a live art com­pe­ti­tion with 2 artist hand pain­ting man­ne­quins in the win­dow of the store, a Patron open bar, good music, and beau­ti­ful peo­ple.  Most memo­ra­ble spe­cial guest appea­ran­ces inc­lu­ded Rihanna, Sienna Miller, and the one and only Anna Wintour.

Note to MTV: Cut Liquor Out of the Budget Next Year!

Sooooooo.…wow what a show! And MTV didn’t even plan out the best parts! LOL The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards took place in my home­town, New York City in the famous Radio City Music Hall!

Let’s com­mence with the objec­tive of all these spe­cial colla­bo­ra­tions. The Michael Jack­son Tri­bute! Did MTV triumph BET’s attempt? Most defi­ni­tely! Ope­ning the show — the Queen of Pop spoke on the King of Pop. Madonna sha­red with the world, her rela­tionship with MJ. Her heart felt words touched all of his fans and nothing less would’ve been appro­priate! Then dan­cers in cha­rac­ter colla­ded a homage to the King of Pop, to his grea­test hits and enters Janet Jack­son! She per­for­med the chart top­per Scream as the video pla­yed in the big screen, as if she were sin­ging it live with her brother. Truly dope, well pro­du­ced and Janet nai­led it. As a fan I com­mend her, no mat­ter how much time has pas­sed, it never gets easier!

Unfor­tu­na­tely, the Kanye West — Tay­lor Swift inci­dent rob­bed the tribute’s thun­der and is the most tal­ked moment on twit­ter. Tay­lor Swift won Best Female Video and Kanye took her mic expres­sing Beyonce’s — Sin­gle Ladies was the best video of the decade and she deser­ved to win that award, gave back the mic and wal­ked back to his seat to the boo’s of the crowd. Poor Tay­lor Swift left speech­less and depres­sed. I mean it was her first VMA award…damn ‘Ye — you couldn’t let her shine? It’s not always about u homie!

Shortly after, Kanye ended up at home wri­ting this apo­logy to Tay­lor Swift on is blog… SMH @ you Yeezy!

“I’M SOOOOO SORRY TO TAYLOR SWIFT AND HER FANS AND HER MOM. I SPOKE TO HER MOTHER RIGHT AFTER AND SHE SAID THE SAME THING MY MOTHER WOULD’VE SAID. SHE IS VERY TALENTED! I LIKE THE LYRICS ABOUT BEING A CHEERLEADER AND SHE’S IN THE BLEACHERS! …………………… I’M IN THE WRONG FOR GOING ON STAGE AND TAKING AWAY FROM HER MOMENT!…………….. BEYONCE’S VIDEO WAS THE BEST OF THIS DECADE!!!! I’M SORRY TO MY FANS IF I LET YOU GUYS DOWN!!!! I’M SORRY TO MY FRIENDS AT MTV. I WILL APOLOGIZE TO TAYLOR 2MRW. WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD!!!! EVERYBODY WANNA BOOOOO ME BUT I’M A FAN OF REAL POP CULTURE!!! NO DISRESPECT BUT WE WATCHIN’ THE SHOW AT THE CRIB RIGHT NOW CAUSE … WELL YOU KNOW!!!! I’M STILL HAPPY FOR TAYLOR!!!! BOOOYAAAWWWW!!!! What do we say, do we for­give him or not? Ehhh… I don’t know, might take some redemp­tion for that one, Mr. West.

Moving on to this pic­ture, it looks like Kanye got too Henny happy and soon after the inci­dent he and his date were escor­ted out…smh! Blame it on the Henny I guess, Amber Rose keep an eye on your man!

Ok, if you didn’t already know, I’ve been wor­king with the pro­duc­tion staff over at IMG for NYC Fashion Week in Bryant Park and it has be faaaa­bu­lous. Although, my expe­rience is very dif­fe­rent than that of actual invi­tee, mostly because I actually don’t even see the show while I’m backs­tage mana­ging the models and kee­ping tabs on my radio. So, anyhow as I was saying shai­det­tes, I love what I do, I really do but the more my pas­sion and skill grows for repor­ting so does my desire to be cove­ring these events and not just wor­king them. Well, here are my favo­rite shows and the live energy was unbelievable!

The Fashion’s Night Out story is an ama­zing event ins­pi­red by a retail con­glo­me­rate that had an awe­some turn-out and ton’s of fun. Below are pic­ture taken on loca­tion and the bri­lliant PSA that aired on the Fashion’s Night Out web­site.

The woman who is said to be “ice cold” sha­red a toasty laugh with rap mogul Diddy on Thurs­day eve­ning (Sept 10) at the Sean John store on 5th Ave­nue in NYC.

Fashion’s Night Out prac­ti­cally took over all of Manhat­tan on Thurs­day night with star-studded events at hun­dreds of clothing bou­ti­ques across the island!

Some of the best ones of the eve­ning were:

• Inter­mix – Pop music icon Rihanna was in high spi­rits as well as actress Sienna Miller!

• Jeffrey’s – Actor Hugh Jack­man was in the house to help paint water­co­lor por­traits and take pic­tu­res with fans! (Gos­sip Girl hot­tie Chace Craw­ford was a no show…boo!)

• Saks Fifth Ave­nue – the incom­pa­ra­ble Jus­tin Tim­ber­lake had fans in an abso­lute frenzy! Follo­wing the event, JT met up with for­mer super­mo­del Cindy Craw­ford and her hubby at his Upper East Side BBQ res­tau­rant Southern Hos­pi­ta­lity!

• Ste­lla McCart­ney – We’re hea­ring J.Lo was in the house!

• Tory Burch – this gol­den affair was DJ’ed by the famous DJ Cas­sidy who had party­goers dan­cing the night away!

• Cathe­rine Malan­drino – there was a per­for­mance by vio­li­nist Cait­lin Moe!

• Berg­dorf Good­man – This party was so posh Vic­to­ria Beckham even stop­ped by.
