Maxwell Comes Out of Hibernation & Blows the Box Office!

July 7, 2009, after an eight year hiatus Maxwell released his fourth album “Blacksummers’ Night”. The song “Pretty Wings” a single from the album which tell the story of a lover who realizes that it’s time to let go of a relationship and move on. The single has created a pretty big buzz on the radio stations these days and I personally love this album and apparently, I’m not the only one that feels this way because in his first week alone he sold 316,000 copies of Blacksummers’night and is currently still #1 on Billboard 200. All I can say is that this work has definitely been therapy for me and has helped me soothe and strengthen the soul and stay on a forward movement, thanks Maxwell… Welcome back, we missed you…
