New York– First thing is first and I am very proud to report that the legendary sports icon, Michael Jordan was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame at Naismith Memorial on September 11. This Man’s thank you list went well beyond friends and family, including any doubters who provided him the inspiration to become a better player — perhaps the greatest one ever that played. Congratulations, buddy! ; )

Another Pro Athlete Bites the Dust!

Let’s rewind to the mid 90’s…Orlando Magics were one of the most popular NBA teams. Shaq and Penny were giving Jordan and Pippen a run for their money and enters drafted David Vaughn from Memphis University.
Here comes an undergrad from a Division 1 university straight into the NBA without a degree. After 7 years of pro ball — houses, cars, jewelry, groupies, partying, drugs, sending money to family equals to broke as a joke!
Vaughn was contracted to play for the Magics for 3 seasons then he did 2 seasons with Golden State and NJ Nets. After that he dabbled in Europe ball. All that money he made and has nothing to show for it.
